Irish Studies conferences being added for Spain, France, Bulgaria, Italy
Quite alot of activity across Europe - Belgium (Leuven), France (Paris) and Italy (Rome) in conjunction with Louvain 400th year anniversary - as well as other Irish Literature and Studies Conferences in Spain and Bulgaria.
The 3 ‘Irish Colleges’ still with strong Irish connections- the Irish college Louvain, Paris and Rome, - celebrate the Flight of the Earls in 1607 and the death in 1657 of the eminent Irish Franciscan Luke Wadding, founder of St Isidore’s College in Rome.

Fortunately EuropeanIrish.com can recommend Ciaran MacGuill who has written ‘l’irlandais de poche’ a pocket Irish-French translation book,
and maintains Chronique Gaelique.
