Roy Keane is playing down his meeting with Wolves boss Mick McCarthy tomorrow.

Tomorrow  the saga of Keave  and Mick McCarthy will resurface, but on amicable Professional terms, they both have a job to do and with a match to look forward to where ex-Sunderland boss, ex-Ireland Manager, current Wolves manager, sets his team ready to host Sunderland, now managed by Roy Keane, the Irish captain sent home by Mick McCarthy from the World Cup in Japan, or a World Cup in which Roy Keane walked out on the Irish team and went home - whichever side of the fence you sat - the winning manager of this encounter will still sit with a a private grin of glee.
Although they may not be on each other’s Christmas card list, they have put to rest amicably their differences,  as they worked together to trade a player a few weeks ago. They are professionals and get on with the job - professionally.

Just another game.

Keane said: “The hype doesn’t worry me in the least. You are going to get people who will try to make a headline. There’s probably more being made of it by the media than there needs to be.

“I spoke to Mick a few weeks ago and we put everything to bed. As far as I’m concerned it’s about the players tomorrow - it’s Sunderland versus Wolves and everyone should be talking about that.

“My players are professional, they know they have to go out and do a job and they’ll stay focused. It’s just another game but one we desperately want to win.”
